Hi! my name is Sarah Elston and I'm studying the Ba of Sport and Outdoor Recreation/Education (secondary). I'm doing the multidisciplinary stream with SOSE instead of Sport, majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Philosophy. I'm the Womyn's Director at MUGSU for the second year in a row and i love it!  I do placement at the Gippsland Education Precinct 2 days a week, and work at a cafe in traralgon also (Iimis).

I have been really happy with how well the Union bar nights have been going this year and how much our reputation is improving as we've been working hard to get this happening!!

I'd love to see people's thoughts on the Union lounge and any ideas/improvements or things you have enjoyed so far so we can continue to make it the place to be!!

It's good to some traffic here. I'm Chris, and I'm studying social welfare. I'm the President of MUGSU, and will be checking out this forum regularly. I'm currently in my final year of an Arts/Business and Commerce double degree, hopefully I'll be all done by years end  ;D

I can't compete with riding an ostrich, but I'm staring at a bank note with the number 1,000,000 printed on it stuck on my wall and its real :o, pity its from some dodge country where that many zeros after a one isn't considered a lot of money

hey ppl...hope all r havin fun! my name is Gee and im studyin B.Sc (bitechnology) here at gippsland. I am the activities director at MUGSU. i arrange events n functions wid my fellow colleague Michael O'Malley who is t he events n functions officer at MUGSU. we also have a lots of clubs and societies here and all students are encouraged to join the ones ur interested in...however, if u do wanna start a new club or society, you can come n chat to us and we can make that happen too! this could be anythin frm a sporting club, movie club or anythin you could think of.

so, if anyone of u guys are interested in organising or if you have got any suggestions at all for what do u guys want, let us knw n we will try to see what we can do. the lounge is also available for private functions which could be both internal and external, as in you dun hav to b a student to book d lounge for ur event.

we have traffic light party coming up on the 28th march, wednesday nite at the lounge with doors opening at 9pm. DJ Glenn wil be playin ur fav tunes all night and the bar is open...so, plz dun forget to bring ur proof of age ID as its a 18+ event. FREE ENTRY ON D NITE TOO..

I'm currently with the union board as ISA President 8), aiding my fellow internationals and uni friends in anyway possible! It's fantastic to see that a forum like this is up for students and I definitely urge and support all students to use this forum as much as possible!! Better late than never! It's taken a while for me to write something up but here goes! My name is Michael Taplin and I am currently in my final year of a Ba. Business/Commerce, Majoring in Marketing and Minoring in Tourism. It's great fun and I want to go into both those fields, and eventually enter into Adventure Tourism.
I am also the Sport and Recreation Director with the Student Union, and I am in my second term of office!
I hope to see some of you around the traps, as I may have already done if your getting involved in Sport and Rec! Hope the year hasn't been to stressful for everyone, but if it is feel free to come and see us at Sport and Rec and we'll lift your spirits with some good fun!

I previously studied B.S at Monash Clayton.. but that was a couple years ago now.
