Well that depends, do u wanna go tenpin bowling or lawn bowling, either one is great fun.  There's tenpis bowling down Chickerell Street in Mowell, which is just behind the Italian Australian Club near Midvalley shopping centre.  But if your like me and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat about the good old days then lawn bowls is the place for you, there's plenty of clubs in the local area so open up phone directory and head on down.

i'm pretty sure there's one in Sale, and I'd guess Bairnsdale would have one. You'd think so anyway.
What I really want to know is where the nearest ice-skating rink is - that's alot of fun, although a bit rough on the ankles. I'd accept old-school roller-skating rinks as a poor substitute - any of those around?
