Overpriced and tasteless, $4!!!! for a toasted sandwich, are they baking their bread on golden trays, I can buy a loaf of bread, cheese and tomatoes for that price and make ten or more toasted sandwiches. And the burgers taste terrible!!!!!!!!, I'ld rather eat a burger from a Maccas bin.

Amen Brother!

Whats not too love about all food options soaked... I mean fried in oil, or covered in sugar or salt?? Got to love those options. I attend other campuses as well- and our campus is by far the worst for healthy alternatives and value for money. While the bistro is ok at times, and the coffee is good- the Uni's food providers have forgotten who they're supposed to be catering for! What happened to supporting Gippsland's Uni Students?  Huh  Undecided

It really is crap food for a crap price. Even Berwick has better food than us, not to mention Clayton - they've got their own food court with a whole bunch of choices. You buy a couple of dim sims and potato cakes, and your out of pocket for like 8 bucks.

Hi Gherkin,
So agree with you!
I'm Student Affairs Director at MUGSU and would like to do something about the food on campus, so apart from the price of food do you have any other major concerns. From talking to other students and my own opinion apart from the exorbitant price there seems to be not enough quality healthy food options that actually look desirable, is this your opinion also? The only way we can really begin to change things is to get students talking about this issue more and voicing concerns! So what are other peoples concerns and feelings with the food available on campus???

gday
DAPREZ is right the food on campus really isnt worth what we  are being asked to pay for it
i like food im a bit of a HOMER
but i would like it if we had some better alternatives and for all those poor starving students out there (like me Cry) the price really needs addressing so then we can become poor students not poor starving students ha,ha,ha Cry
