You will find a range of useful information in this Off Campus area of the MUGSU website, however you'll see much more information once you register and login to the website. The Off Campus Students' Association (OCSA) is an important part of MUGSU and represents off campus students and their concerns within MUGSU and to Monash. MUGSU offers dedicated off campus services including campaigns around issues including:
- improving feedback on assignments
- assistance and support through any grievance, discipline or exclusion process
- referrals to specific support services
- regular e-news updates
- off campus bursaries
- advice on travel and accommodation for weekend schools
- activities and
- 1800 freecall advice line
- Buddy (Mentoring) Program
- Off Campus online communities and forum
- other services which can help you as your time as a student.

Bursaries will be offered during both semesters 1 & 2. Monash Gippsland and MUGSU are offering 10 equity bursaries to Off Campus students to the value of $750. Bursaries are awarded on the basis of demonstrated need and academic merit in relation to demonstrated need.

To help break the isolation that OC students can sometimes experience and feel, we have developed an Off Campus Buddy Scheme. This scheme matches students with other students who have experience in off campus studies and can help through the myriad issues that come up.
